The Dynamic Characterization Platform
The dynamic testing facilities enable specimens to be tested (compression, tension, shock etc) at high loading speeds. Some equipment enables impact tests on fluids. This technology platform is equipped with a SERVOTEST shock test machine, Hopkinson bars, an Agilent DSO 80694B oscilloscope and the associated tests means.
Our equipment
The SERVOTEST shock test machine
The SERVOTEST shock test machine enables compression load mechanical shock testing with a load capacity of 200 kN or 100 kN.
Hopkinson bars
Masmeca has a set of Hopkinson bars : 1 tension bar, 2 compression bars and 1 torsion bar.
The Agilent DSO 80694B oscilloscope
The blast tube
The shock tube enables membrane perforation testing by means of a blast generated by a high pressure reservoir.
